Found-A-Part is a parts marketplace where residents of the United States can easily and securely buy or sell new or used parts.
Found-A-Part is currently available to residents of the United States and its territories. This means that you will need a U.S. billing or shipping address, as well as a U.S. Internet Provider (IP) address.
At this time we only offer support via e-mail. All of our customer support agents are ready to address your questions and resolve problems. None of our responses are automated, so we are able to tailer resolutions to your specific need. Questions or problems that arise over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) may take longer to address.
Account registration via PayPal allows the Found-A-Part Seller a fast and secure way to receive payment. Logging In with PayPal also eliminates the burden of having to memorize another username and password.
Its, simple! First, navigate to your Dashboard by clicking on [Dashboard] in the navbar. Next, select the button labeled [List a part]. You will be taken to the page from which you can then post your listing. The listing must contain a Title, Category, Price, Shipping Cost or Free Local Pickup, at least 1 Picture, and a Description. The Title can be up to 80 characters long. The Price and Shipping Cost have a limit of $100,000 USD. The maximum number of Pictures is 12. The Description can be up to 600 characters.
All shipping labels must be generated via PayPal. Within the PayPal transaction for your sold item, you will have the option to either [Print Shipping Label], or to [Add Tracking Info] if you prefer to use your own shipping carrier account or a shipping method outside of PayPal.
First, navigate to your Dashboard by selecting [Dashboard] in the navbar. Next, select the [Active-listings] button. In the Active Listings page, you will be able to select the listings you wish to delete. Once your selections are made, scroll down to the bottom of the page where there will be a [Delete] button. Then click on [Delete], the selected listings will be moved to the [Unsold-listings] page, where they will remain for 30 days. At the end of the 30 days, the unsold listings will be automatically deleted. You can also delete the unsold listings manually within that time, or re-list them by selecting the [Relist] button.
First, navigate to your Dashboard by selecting [Dashboard] in the navbar. Next, select the [Active-listings] button. In the Active Listings page, select [Edit] on the listings you would like to modify. The editing interface allows you to edit the listing Title, Category, Price, your Shipping options, and the Description. Pictures cannot be edited. In order to edit listing pictures, you will need to delete the existing listing and create a new one with the desired pictures.
The Title can be up to 80 characters. The Price and Shipping Cost have a limit of $100,000 USD. The Description can be up to 600 characters long.
You can sell anything that pertains to our Categories. Our categories are as follows: Cruiser Bikes, Sport Bikes, Scooters and Mopeds, Dirt Bikes, ATV and UTV, Jet Ski and Boats, Airplanes, Snowmobiles, RV, Camper, Trailer, and Motor Home, Cars and Trucks. Any listing selling anything other than what our Categories allow is strictly prohibited and will be taken down immediately.

Sellers are assessed a 10% selling fee for every item sold + shipping charged on Found-A-Part. Fees only apply to items that are sold; there are no storage or listing fees. If a part does not sell, there are no fees for the Seller. This excludes PayPal fees as PayPal is a separate entity.
Each user on Found-A-Part can have a combined max of 50 ratings. When new ratings are submitted, the oldest ratings are removed from the list. This design allows for constant improvement in quality.
Each listing can be shared to Facebook, via e-mail, or on Twitter by selecting the appropriate media icon once the listing is posted.
As a Seller, best practices for great customer service include speedy shipping and quick handling times, so it is best to ship out sold items as soon as possible. In this way, Sellers can grow a base of returning customers. Buyers are also more likely to leave good ratings when the items they ordered arrive quickly.
You will need to create a PayPal account if you do not already have one in order to shop on Found-A-Part. PayPal is an easy and secure way to keep track of your account activity.
Orders can be cancelled by contacting the Seller via Found-A-Part messaging or via PayPal's Resolution Center. This must be done before the Seller ships the item. Orders cannot be cancelled after they are shipped.
Once you have decided on the item(s) you would like to purchase, simply click on the [Buy] button. This will take you to the PayPal Checkout flow, where you can select your method of payment and purchase the item(s).
PayPal is currently the only method of payment supported on Found-A-Part. However, in your PayPal account, you can add a bank account, credit card, or debit card of your choosing.
Your shipping address must be changed in your PayPal Account Settings before checkout is completed.
If you have not received your item, contact the Seller via Found-A-Part messaging. If you have not done so, obtain a tracking number for your order, then ensure that there were no issues in-transit and that your shipping address is correct. If the Seller is unresponsive or unable to provide tracking information, you can open a case in the PayPal Resolution Center for a refund.
Navigate to your dashboard by selecting [Dashboard] in the navbar. Then click on the [Purchase History] button. From the Purchase History page, can rate any of your purchases. You can leave up to a 5-star rating, as well as a short comment about your experience.
While ratings are intended as an open forum, we have guidelines and policies in place to ensure that it is used constructively and fairly.
Buyers are not allowed to use threats of low ratings to get something that was not part of the original listings, and Sellers cannot demand high ratings from buyers.
Sellers are not allowed to include terms and conditions in a listing that limit or restrict the Buyer from leaving a rating.
By using PayPal, transactions are processed securely. Your payment information never leaves PayPal.
Rate the Seller! Ratings are very important for Sellers as they not only help a Seller identify where they may need to improve, but also allows other Buyers to buy with confidence from highly rated Sellers.
Shipping and handling times depend on the Seller and the chosen carrier. Keep track of your order via the tracking number provided by the Seller. If you have any questions about delivery times, it is best to message the Seller for more details.
To intiate a return, message the Seller via the Found-A-Part messaging to work out the details of the return. If the Seller does not respond within 3 business days, you can open a dispute or return via the PayPal Resolution Center.

If you recieve an item that doess not match the listing description and photos, contact the Seller immediately to initiate a return, an exchange, or a refund. If the Seller is not cooperative, you can open a transaction dispute via the PayPal Resolution Center. Do not forget to leave a rating for the Seller.
